In between Stackridge and The Korgis, Andy Davis was heavily involved with the formation of the Kim Beacon band. He wrote some of the songs and played keys and guitar in the band.
This is also the first appearance of 'If I Had You'... complete with the extra verses that he still sing with his band DLM.
