Paul Griffin wrote some lyrics and tunes over quite a period of time, without really being sure how to take it any further. After bumping into each other on many Korgis gigs Paul asked Al Steele if he would be interested in writing the music and producing an album.

Not being one to ever say no(!), we set to work on recording this very diverse and interesting bunch of songs. From behind the Iron Curtain all the way to the Wild West with some parlour music thrown in, and not forgetting that Paul is a 'Griser'! That means there are a few songs about trains and train journeys. Closing with the haunting Floydian 'In the Night-time Nothing Matters except You and Me' where Al gets to reveal his inner Dave Gilmour. We hope you enjoy listening to this album as much as we enjoyed making it!
